Rochester, New York

As an end of the summer trip, we drove out to Rochester, New York where Chris grew up to visit his parents, Bisia & Grampy.  It is a 10 hour drive that we broke up into 2 days - leaving Friday evening after work and spending the night in a hotel in the middle of Ohio.  

The drive went reasonably well all things considered.  The kids enjoyed lots of movies in the van and lots of snacks.  The biggest issue was that Katelyn basically didn't nap in the car.  She fell asleep about 30 minutes away from Bisia & Grampy's house at about 2:30pm and woke up before we got there.  She wasn't sad, but was definitely tired!

That afternoon, the kids walked down with Daddy & Grampy and checked out some equipment that was waiting for a nearby road refinishing project.
