Sledding

We finally had some snow and it wasn't absolutely frigid out, so the kids got to enjoy some time in the snow. Adelyn enjoyed sledding, until she tipped over, then she decided that swinging was much safer. ;) Katelyn is all about making "Snow Angels", mostly because Ruby (of Max & Ruby) makes them. Brendan doesn't care what he does, he just wants to play in the snow!

Home made Silly Putty

I participated in a Craft Swap towards the end of last winter and since we had some extra time today with no school, we broke out some of the bags. The home made silly putty was the biggest hit! We used the "Borax" method in the following link. http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Silly-Putty

Snow Day Fun Inside!

We had a snow/cold weather day, so we brought the snow inside to play with it. Huge hit! We scooped, we painted, we melted, we made ice sculptures (by putting it back outside on the porch to re-freeze- which didn't take long!).
