Fishers Freedom Festival
We checked out the Children's Tent this year, despite the soggy weather. The kids, esp. Katelyn enjoyed doing the various crafts they had - sand art and stringing beads. They also launched water balloons and dunked the police officer in the dunk tank...not really by throwing the ball, they were very nice and let the little ones just run up and push the button if they missed when throwing the ball. Of course, they did have a squirt gun and tried to get people, esp. the parents! We had some lunch and the kids got to play in some of the inflatables. We also watched a little of the fireman competition before heading home.
On Sunday, we came back over to watch the parade with the Shoemakers.

Baseball
Brendan is doing baseball through the YMCA again. This time it is "Coach Pitch" instead of t-ball. He's doing very well and hit the ball in both of his at bat's during today's game. :) (They get 3 pitches and then if they don't hit, get to hit off the tee) We're still working on paying attention while fielding and actually running the bases, not skipping, but he seems to be enjoying himself. :)

Last Day in Cincinnati
After breakfast, Chris took the big kids back to the hotel pool to swim for a little bit while I packed up our stuff. Adelyn very nicely decided to take a nap in her car seat so I could pack with two hands. :)
After checking out, we checked out a local restaurant named Grecos that is in a historic building that is apparently related to the B & O Railroad and is pictured on the B&O Monopoly game piece. The best part for the kids was that they had paper on the table to color on and there was a train track right behind the parking lot - saw 3 trains while we ate lunch!
Then we visited the Cincinnati Museum Center where they have a Children's Museum It did not compare to our local Children's Museum, but it was a fun place for the kids to play. They didn't want to leave, even though it was almost 4pm and we needed to get on the road to head home!
