We celebrated all the winter birthdays and especially the three kids.

50 Weeks

Some real food!

I realized that Adelyn is almost a year old and not really eating much in the way of table food yet.  Partially out my laziness and the fact that we just don't eat a lot of meals at home and she doesn't complain about the lack of solids.  :)    So, we tried some pieces of Cheerios this morning and she loved them!  She quickly was able to crunch whole ones with her 4 teeth.  The small pieces of banana were not as popular.  ;)

49 Weeks

It is getting quite challenging to take Adelyn's weekly pictures...so while I am sad that she will be one soon, it will be nice to not have to wrestle with her once a week!  I'm terrified she's going to fall/crawl out of the chair while I'm trying to take the picture. 

Pushing my stroller

Adelyn got a stroller just like Katelyn's for Christmas.  She hasn't shown much interest in it, but I pulled it out today as she is loving to stand up and "take steps" holding on to our hands.  She did great with it!  Not sure why she only wanted to hold on with one hand...    And sticking her tongue is just classic Adelyn :)

Here other current trick is "Trust Falls" as Chris is calling them.  She'll be standing up fine, go rigid and fall backwards expecting you to catch her!  Assuming you catch her she just smiles and laughs!
