Last Regular Season Baseball Game...
and Brendan finally got a hit! I think that Coach Jones kept creeping up closer to the plate, but I didn't really care. It wasn't a big hit, but it was a hit and everyone cheered for him! :) He made it to first base with his mother telling the other kid to "drop the ball" under her breath. (In talking with Coach after the game, he said the same thing!) Miraculously, he made it all the way around the bases and scored...got lucky again, in that despite being the force out on 3rd, the other team threw the ball to first base.
Brendan was awarded the game ball tonight and was just as excited about that as he was getting a hit and scoring a run.
To celebrate, we ordered pizza for dinner.

19 months
Adelyn continues to be a very happy baby. She plays very well by herself with her toys or the big kids' toys. She also loves to color right along side the big kids. I always say that she has no idea that she is little. :) And she remains to be tiny, she is wearing 12-18 month clothes at this point. 12 month stuff is starting to be short/small, but 18 month stuff is generally huge on her. She's still enjoying her infant car seat and so am I! She loves to sleep in it and will often catch a cat nap on the way to school - which can ruin our schedule for the day, but if she's comfy, there's not much that I can do to keep her awake.
She is using more words lately and will spontaneously break out into song with just the words, "Let it go!" She also loves to dance, if she is awake at Katelyn's dance class, she loves to stand by the doors and watch/dance along with them.
Things she says:
Let it go!
Me! or mine!
Ma-Ma
More, also signs this
Up and working on down, but signs "all done"
Kitty, but she also calls dogs, kitties.
Adelyn's 18 month check up was just before we went to St. Louis, but it was more of a sick visit, as she and Katelyn were both sick with a cough/runny nose.
Height: 29.1 inches
Weight: 19.8 pounds

Apple Picking!
After returning from Florida, we were ready to enjoy the fall! We headed to Tuttle's to pick some apples. Kids had a great time picking way too many apples...lots of pies in our future. ;)
They also (of course!) had to play in the kids' area - toy tractors, sandbox, straw maze.
