36 Weeks

Eating breakfast is so exhausting!

Or as Grandpa Van Horn would've called it, "Back to bed breakfast"
 

First Dusting of Snow!

The kids were so excited to wake up this morning and to see snow.  I couldn't keep them away from it...it was the fasted that they have ever gotten themselves dressed in the morning.
They even scraped the snow off the table and put it into the shopping cart and cozy coupe car.   :)

35 Weeks

Adelyn is 8 months old today!

She has some interest in solid foods now - she loves carrots!

She is sitting up really well and if on her belly, she will hold her chest up off the ground, but will then immediately roll onto her back.  :)

Our poor sleep continues - she is sleeping in our bed at night and nursing frequently, but I'm sleeping too for the most part, so I'm not really complaining.  ;)

Her favorite toys are plastic stacking cups.

No real words yet, but saying "dadadada" which Daddy thinks is "Da-Da"

Brendan's First Soccer

Brendan had said this fall that he wanted to try soccer, so once baseball was over, we signed up for an Indoor Soccer league at the YMCA.   We bought some shin guards and big socks that suprisingly he let me put on him.   It was kind of a free for all day - the kids each got a ball and practiced some "skills".  It seems like most of the other kids have played soccer before, so we'll see how this goes!

Carmel Library Train Show

Aunt Julie mentioned to us that there was going to be a Model train show at the Carmel Library.  So we ventured over there to check it out and the kids had fun!  Thanks Aunt Julie for the tip!
