Family Pictures Take 1!

I bought a remote for my camera this year, which made things a little easier...no more running back and forth to push the timer button!

A Visit with Friends

Once again this year, we were able to meet up with Nikki (Atkisson) Robarge and her now 2 kids!  All the kids had a great time playing in the condo, eating lunch, and then we had a brief visit to the pool.  It's somewhat challenging to take 3 toddlers swimming plus a newborn who loves to be held.  :)   We had a good visit and hope that we get to do it again in the future if they are stationed at Elgin AF base again.   Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of the kids playing together.  :(

What else, but beach time!

Someone spent a lot of time yesterday afternoon digging this huge hole on the beach. Brendan went straight to it in the morning. :)
He also tried to fill it up with water...

Florida Sunset

Lunch at the Boat Yard

We met Aunt Diane at The Boat Yard for a Sunday early lunch.  Daddy was attempting to scuba dive...the motor on the boat broke down before they could get to their dive site.  :(

Luckily, Daddy's boat got a tow and he was able to join us for lunch.   The kids certainly enjoyed the opportunity to look at the boats and see the huge fish swimming underneath the dock hoping for someone to have a quarter and get out some fish food.

More Fun at the Beach

Uncle Robbie did some fishing today and caught some bait fish which he stored in his cooler.  The kids really enjoyed playing with the little fish.

As the morning went on, the poor little fish got easier and easier to catch... ;)

First Day at the Beach

The best part about driving straight through on Friday was that we had the whole day on Saturday to play...we went down to the beach after breakfast. It was such a gorgeous day!
There was an awesome sandbar about 15 feet out which the kids really enjoyed exploring.
And it made for nice calm water inland of the sandbar...not that it was windy today.
Checking out the waves!
The little snails we found burrowing into the sand of the sandbar.
Katelyn was enthralled with building "sand castles"...really just packing sand into sand castle molds, but she was having fun.  :)
Snack time...as always...not sure we were down there 30 minutes and they were ready to eat something.  :)
Bobby wasn't so sure about the sand on his toes...he did much better in the water/waves.  Poor little guy!
