Family of Five

We tortured our family a little bit more and made them wait for an in person gender reveal. :) We of course had to take her pink hat off and I held my fingers over her arm band that read "girl" until we told everyone, "It's a girl!" and her name. :)

Baby Day!

Adelyn Emerson Low arrived at 8:26am on March 11, 2013 via scheduled C-section.
7 pounds, 8 ounces   21 inches long

Chris got to announce "It's a girl"...I think that he was genuinely surprised that she was a girl and not a boy.  :)

She was a good loud crier and apparently peed on the doctor and nurses four times. 

They brought her over as soon as she was dried off and weighed.  They put her right next to me and pulled the blue drape over our heads a little bit so it was dark and she opened her eyes right up and kept turning towards me as I talked.  :)   Guess she recognized my voice after all that time. 

The best part was that I actually got to hold her in the OR- I got a quick glance at Katelyn before they took her up to the NICU.

Cousins

We had a family dinner tonight to celebrate tomorrow's "BabyDay" I didn't take many pictures, except for this one of Brendan "reading" to his cousins. :)

Finally a snowman!

Finally in March, we had a snowfall that was conducive for snowman building. Chris took the kids out in the afternoon just in time as the temperature approached 40 degrees.

Princess Party

I wanted to have a small party to celebrate Katelyn's 3rd birthday, but knew that we had to do it before baby's arrival. We kept it low key and just had some 2-4 year old girls come over to play, eat lunch and some Princess cake.

Bear for Baby

We took Brendan & Katelyn to Build-a-Bear to make a bear for the baby today. We did the same with Brendan for Katelyn just about 3 years ago. :)
