33 Months

These pictures capture Katelyn so well right now. She still loves her pacis, can be a complete "ham" and loves to have all of her "stuff" with her - whatever that may be on any given day. :)

Gymbo Time!

Katelyn and I still go to Gymbo, about once per week or every other week while Brendan is at preschool. Katelyn loves to gather the stuff...today we had a picnic on pink scarfs and ate bananas. :) We often have a few minutes before our Gymbo class starts, so we have occasionally run into the O'Malia's store in the same strip mall to get a couple things. Katelyn LOVES the little shopping carts that they have. :)

Christmas Open House at "Regular School"

Our daycare had a Christmas Open House/Breakfast today. The kids enjoyed some chocolate donuts with M&Ms and played some games. :) Katelyn sat on Santa's lap...Brendan wasn't so interested!

Polar Bear Express

This evening, we got to ride the Polar Bear Express from Fishers to Forest Park in Noblesville. This was the second year we have done this, but the first time in the evening. It was a longer ride with cookies and hot chocolate.   The kids wore their new Christmas pjs.

They were both a little worried that the whistle would be too loud...luckily we were in the middle of the train, so it wasn't loud at all.

Katelyn loved the hot chocolate, Brendan not so much.

Keeping Baby Shadow warm. :)

Very excited to see Santa!

Cookies 'n Santa

After our North Pole breakfast, we went into Fishers to see Santa at the Town Hall as part of Tri Kappa's "Cookies 'n Santa".  The kids did really well sitting next to Santa.  Santa might have been a little blind-sided by Brendan's enthusiasm with Baby Shadow kitty.  :)

Pretty sure that Katelyn asked for "Pink and purple toys"  :)
Brendan of course asked for trains - Trackmaster trains.  :)

After seeing Santa, we had to check out the train station and see if the Polar Bear Express train was there.

North Pole Breakfast

To kick off the month of December, we had a North Pole Breakfast this morning. (Thanks Pinterest! Although, I didn't go nearly as all out as some people have.) Our Elf, Mr. Elf, had already made his appearance, but he did bring chocolate Advent calenders for the kids as well as two tickets to ride the Polar Bear Express train later that day in Fishers.

Santa Hats and Snowballs.  :)    (Strawberries with whipped topping and powdered sugar covered donut holes)   The donuts were a big hit, the strawberries - not as much!
